Skulls for the Skull Throne!

July 21th 2017

Today marks the beginning of the Games Workshop’s event « Skulls for the Skull Throne », a weekend-long event during which games from the Warhammer world and the Warhammer 40,000 universe are enjoying time-limited discount offers on Steam, as well as additional content themed around the Blood God, Khorne, the legendary Warhammer figure sitting upon his Skull Throne in the Realm of Chaos!

On this special occasion, the Warhammer games from the Focus Home Interactive catalogue will be no exception, and benefit this weekend from exceptional discounts on Steam, along with free additional content for all players to enjoy, all themed around the Blood God Khorne, and the characteristic Skulls this God of Chaos is associated with! This extra content, coming to Space Hulk: Deathwing, Blood Bowl 2 and Battlefleet Gothic: Armada starting today, is detailed below:

Space Hulk: Deathwing

A brand new class has been added to the game – the fearsome Interrogator-Chaplain. This specialist battle-brother is the spiritual leader of his fellow Dark Angels, and are famously known for their macabre skull helms. Available in solo special missions and multiplayer, this fearsome fighter of the Emperor brings a unique set of weapons including the Crozius Arcanum, a sacred staff infused with a powerful energy field generator. Chaplains are able to provide unparalleled support, capable of resurrecting downed squad members, reflecting damage back to his enemies, and much more.

Blood Bowl 2

Two unique balls are added into the game, which you can select in the options menu. The first is the Ribcage Ball, a thoracic cage of an unfortunate soul shaped into an oval, skull-themed, ball. The second is the Daemonic Ball which is the head of a Bloodletter, Khorne’s ‘Taker of Skulls’.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada

A brand new celestial body can be found in both singleplayer and multiplayer. These floating masses contain corrupted Chaos energy, deformed by the Chaos corruption and relentless war in the Gothic sector.

Focus Home Interactive’s Warhammer titles go up to 75% off in the next four days! Experience the horrors of Khorne, and pick up Space Hulk: Deathwing, Blood Bowl 2 and Battlefleet Gothic: Armada!

Skulls for the Skull Throne – Njal Stormcaller!

Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach will be at 25% off for the duration of the Skulls for the Skull Throne promo!

For this special occasion we have decided to release a new hero for the Space Wolves faction: Njal Stormcaller, a powerful psyker, also known as Tempest that Walks.

He has proven to be of unparalleled ability both as an Astartes warrior and a formidable psyker without peer. The barbarian tribes of Fenris believe that the most powerful Sky Warriors can bend the savage elements themselves to their will. Njal Stormcaller is the living proof of that belief! The skies are his to command, and he takes fierce delight in summoning ice-toothed blizzards and howling gales with which to scatter and destroy those in his path.

Njal Stormcaller is now available for free as part of the latest update!

Skulls for the Skull Throne – Skull Point

50% discount on The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn and all DLC until 24th July 2017

As part of the festival of Warhammer gaming we have updated The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn – Iron Edition to include Skull Point.

Perturabo, Primarch of the Iron Warriors, has always had a haunting link to the warp – a place where great power, madness and death could be found.

Perturabo’s visions of this realm plague him. He desires these powers for himself, and secretly knows they could be found upon Tallarn. Only the war hinders his search.

Aboard his flagship the Iron Blood suddenly a vision hits Perturabo – a vision primal war, skulls, blood and of guttural laughter.

Perturabo’s bridge command report of strange warp fluxes, a storm has enveloped an area of Tallarn, seemingly clearing the deadly fog that usually inhibits combat operations in the area.
Intercepted vox show that zealous defenders have already taken to calling this area Skull Point and are poised to defend the it with their lives.

Could this be a link to the power Perturabo desires or something more sinister brought on by the war upon Tallarn? One thing is known for sure, the defenders of Skull Point must not claim this prize.

Buy The Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn on Steam now with 50% off and get Skull Point for FREE or if you have already purchased, look out for the free update on Steam! All DLC is also discounted 50%.
