Au registre des futurs jeux sur un thème original, les amateurs de city-builders seront probablement curieux de découvrir Aquatico. Le principe est simple, il s’agit cette fois de bâtir une cité sur le plancher océanique. Le jeu se déroule dans un futur proche, dans lequel la surface de notre Terre est devenue inhabitable. Plutôt que de perdre espoir, des groupes de survivants ont choisi d’aller voir au fond des océans si l’herbe, enfin les algues, y étaient plus vertes. Apparemment oui.
Vraisemblablement le gameplay se calquera sur celui habituel d’autres titres du genre, à savoir collecter des ressources, construire des bâtiments, s’étendre pour avoir plus de ressources, tout en veillant au bien-être de sa population et en développant de nouvelles technologies. Les drones, robots et autres sous-marins vous aideront à vous adapter à ce nouveau milieu.
A noter qu’un système d’expéditions proposera lui de l’exploration, et de découvrir les mystères des abysses post-apocalyptiques. Ce qui devrait apporter une touche d’originalité supplémentaire.

Aquatico is a survival city building game set on the ocean floor. In the not-too-distant future, the surface of the Earth became a barren wasteland, but groups of people refused to abandon hope. They embarked on a journey beneath the waves hoping to find a safe place and start anew. They find an amazing, surreal world full of danger and challenges, and strive to find the needed resources to build a thriving underwater city.
