En bref. Si la nostalgie ou la curiosité vous en dit, Kalypso confirme aujourd’hui le retour en version HD de ces deux jeux, l’un très tactique façon puzzle en temps réel option action light / heavy infiltration, l’autre classique STR au gameplay certes un peu désuet mais éprouvé. Anciens titres signés par les espagnols de Pyro studios au début des années 2000, et qui ont pris en ce début d’année la bonne résolution d’avoir une deuxième vie en haute définition.
Si vous ne connaissez pas le fameux Commandos, dans un registre similaire, mais bien plus récent et prenant pour cadre le pays du soleil levant, voyez éventuellement notre article Shadow Tactics, les commandos japonais du 17e siècle. Commandos 2 & Praetorians HD Remasters Launch On PC
Strategy publisher Kalypso Media and developers Yippee! Entertainment and Torus Games today launched Commandos 2 – HD Remaster and Praetorians – HD Remaster. The games can now be purchased individually on Steam (Commandos 2/Praetorians) or as a special double pack via the Kalypso Store. Each title contains a full high-definition refurbishment of its Pyro Studios precursor whilst adding revamped tutorials and campaign missions, controller support, as well as an integrated version of Praetorians – HD Remaster’s multiplayer mode.
The console versions of Commandos 2 – HD Remaster and Praetorians – HD Remaster are set to launch in Spring 2020.
In Commandos 2 – HD Remaster, take control of an elite group of Allied commandos who must venture deep into enemy territory and utilize their combined expertise to complete a series of progressively demanding missions. In this World War II genre-defining classic, explore interactive environments and use unique skill sets to complete missions against seemingly impossible odds.
