Endless Space 2 : sortie et vidéos

En bref. Sega confirme avec un nouveau joli trailer faisant suite à quatre vidéos ayant présenté ces dernières semaines les principes essentiels du genre des 4X, à savoir eXploration, eXpansion, eXploitation et eXtermination, que la prometteuse suite d’Endless Space est désormais disponible.

A noter aussi que Amplitude a dévoilé il y a une semaine dans une courte vidéo la huitième faction du jeu : les Unfallen. Faction développée conjointement avec la participation de la communauté et consistant en quelque sorte en des arbres intelligents mais pacifistes. Ce qui ne signifie pas qu’ils resteront immobiles en cas d’agression, voire même tout simplement pour coloniser eux aussi tout ou partie de l’univers.

AMPLITUDE STUDIOS TAKES PLAYERS ON A GALACTIC SAGA WITH ENDLESS SPACE 2 – AVAILABLE NOW ON STEAM

Paris, France – May 19, 2017 – SEGA Europe Ltd. and Amplitude Studios have officially released the genre-defining sci-fi grand strategy game, Endless Space®2, today. After a period of fine-tuning in Early Access, Endless Space®2 has hit “full launch” status and is ready for players to jump in and take on the challenge of conquering the universe as one of many distinct spacefaring civilizations. The game’s launch was recently jeopardized as the studio had been hijacked by an A.I. gone rogue that had taken over all of Amplitude’s tools and communications channels. After a month of research and discussion with the A.I. ‘E.N.F.E.R.’, the community managed to get it into quarantine, and during a special stream last night, the devs were able to lock down the A.I. for good, which resulted in Endless Space®2 launching a day earlier than expected.
