Voici un court trailer présentant ce prochain mignon jeu de stratégie vous mettant à la tête d’une corporation de mercenaires pilotant des robots de combats géants. Jeu s’inspirant en partie d’XCOM et de Faster Than Light, qui proposera donc des combats en tour par tour et un méta-jeu dans lequel il s’agira d’explorer une galaxie au bord de la guerre, et incidemment de remplir des contrats afin de pouvoir vous développer, acheter du matériel, ou encore rechercher de nouvelles technologies. Le tout dans un univers généré aléatoirement et dans lequel vos choix auront des conséquences permanentes.

MechCorp – A turn-based tactic game about mechs (released on 2nd August)
Sheffield, 25 July 2018 – Imaging a game combining the squad building nature of X-Com with the randomness of F.T.L.. That’s MechCorp in a nutshell. If the name doesn’t give it away, there’s mech in the game. A lot of it.
In MechCorp, you play as commander of an emerging mercenaries warband in a galaxy on the edge of war. Your job is to keep your squad in battle shape and chase after various contract. Half of the game plays in real time where you juggle various element like scavenging resources, training crews, research and building equipment and of course, choose which battle to engage in. The other half, namely the battle however, is a turn based affair taking place on a hex-grid.
Your squad is consist of mechs of various kind, each with different abilities. They can be further customized by various equipment and weapon changes. The effectiveness of your squad in battle depends very much on how you outfit them prior.
After 3 years of development, MechCorp will be released on steam, 2nd August
About the Developer
SongGameDev is a one man indie game studio based in Sheffield UK. Prior to MechCorp, the studio mostly work on 3rd party title. The more notable one being AncientFrontier and ElementTD (mobile).
