En bref. Paradox annonce que son city-builder qui a détrôné SimCity a atteint pour son quatrième anniversaire le cap des six millions d’exemplaires vendus. Soit un de plus que l’an dernier à la même époque. Une très belle performance pour un jeu qui a bâti une grande partie de son succès sur d’une part la taille des cartes, et d’autre part l’ouverture aux joueurs pour leur permettre de créer et modifier facilement les bâtiments et mécanismes du jeu (plus de 175 000 mods sont disponibles à l’heure actuelle…).
Dans un registre voisin, on est toujours sans nouvelles du projet de déclinaison de Cities Skylines en jeu de plateau. Le projet aurait été ou serait en cours de réécriture depuis son annonce l’année dernière, devant aboutir à terme à un jeu coopératif, semble-t-il.
