Muzzy Lane Software announced today that their grand strategy game Making History II: The War of the World has reduced its price to $19.99 and now includes a full-featured game editor for players to create and play their own scenarios. The game is available in English, German, and French for the PC and Mac OSX. Making History II: The War of the World developed a loyal following after overcoming initial criticism, earning a nomination for Strategy Game of the Year in 2011.
“Making History II has continued to develop and improve since it was launched in 2010”, says Muzzy Lane Product Manager Chris Parsons. “The Game Editor is just the icing on the cake for our fantastic user community and all strategy wargamers. It’s an amazing tool for players to create their own content. Players can enjoy hundreds of hours of gameplay, and the reduced price makes it an even better deal.”
Also included with the news is that the game has also received an update to add further polish and improve the AI. With the game editor included, players can use the interface to download and play user-created content as well as put their own up.
Making History II: The War of the World can be downloaded at the Making History Gaming Headquarters website here. A free 50-turn demo is also available for players looking to give the game a try.
